ബര്‍ലിന്‍: ജര്‍മ്മനിയുടെ പാര്‍ലമെന്റിന്റെ അധോസഭയായ ബുണ്ടെസ്ററാഗിനെ ബുധനാഴ്ച അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട്, ഡിസംബര്‍ 16 ന് വിശ്വാസവോട്ട് വിളിച്ച് പുതിയ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് വഴിയൊരുക്കുമെന്ന് ചാന്‍സലര്‍ ഷോള്‍സ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. തുടര്‍ന്ന്, ജര്‍മ്മന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് പിരിച്ചുവിടും, ഫെബ്രുവരി 23 ന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് തീയതിയും നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.
